Background

Hello I’m Rebecca Barlow, an experienced Level 7 specialist dyslexia assessor based in Chiddingfold, Surrey. I assess children aged 8-18 in Surrey and surrounding areas. I have a current Assessment Practising Certificate through The Dyslexia Guild.

I first became interested in supporting children with literacy challenges whilst working as a primary school teacher. This led to me undertaking postgraduate training with Dyslexia Action to become a specialist teacher and assessor. I set up ‘Surrey Dyslexia Support’ in 2015 with a vision to help children with learning challenges to reach their potential. I support them to understand how they learn and build their confidence and self-esteem.
